Our Mission

To support a network of thriving education and community across Wheat Ridge to strengthen the future of our kids, our families, and our communities.

About us

The Wheat Ridge Coalition initiates community outreach efforts for Wheat Ridge schools through collaboration with key members of Wheat Ridge. We were founded by Jeffco Public Schools Family Liaisons in 2021 and supported by the City of Wheat Ridge, Rotary, Kiwanis, Optimist, The Action Center, Lutheran Hospital, Wheat Ridge Parents and local churches. Today we are supported by many other small businesses and organizations and always welcome more!! We strengthen our school systems by strengthening our communities in their entirety. Our efforts include streamlining resources and events while building genuine relationships in an effort to keep our families opting in to Wheat Ridge schools.

Wheat Ridge Coalition is all about helping to build a strong community. Strong Community means Strong Schools. We do this by:

Streamlining Resources

By coming together as a group, we are able to make sure that all of the member schools and organizations have a way to streamline needed resources, as well as, find opportunities for supporting our neighbors.

Community Partnerships

We are better together. The Wheat Ridge Coalition is a place where community members (business leaders, organizations, families, and schools) work together to create opportunities for community involvement and growth.

Building a Brighter Future

We welcome organizations, schools, and the city to unite, promote, and support each other in their efforts to build a brighter future.

We welcome you to join us for one of our quarterly gatherings to get to know other community members who want to make a difference. Or check out ways you can support upcoming events or programming on our event page. Our next meeting is April 30, 2024 @ The Wheat Ridge Visitor Center from 9:30-11am.
